The Anand research team focuses the structure activity relationships of opioid compounds to develop novel rescue therapies, opioid maintenance therapies, and new analgesics with reduced abuse potential. We use both in vitro and in vivo tools to explore the effects of novel compounds and combinations of existing therapeutics.
