EBS Analysis

EBS Educational Broadcasting System was founded on June 22, 2000, and its headquarters are in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. EBS produces high-quality programs to strengthen public education and support lifelong education.

EBS Channels

EBS 1: Educational programs for children, middle and high school students, families, documentaries, and cultural programs for adults.

EBS 2: Various educational programs and informative lectures for students from 2015.

EBS+1: CSAT (the university entrance exam) preparation channel.

EBS+2: Educational programs for elementary and middle school students and vocational training for adults.

There are various EBS channels, such as educational documentaries and cultural programs.

EBS has had an international documentary festival called EIDF since 2004, becoming one of Asia's most popular annual film festivals. You can watch the 20th EBS International Documentary Film Festival this year from August 22nd to 28th through EBS 1 Channel.

I want to introduce the EBS Kids channel and some documentaries filmed in South Korea, the U.S.A., and Canada.

EBS Pengsoo and Pororo

Pengsoo and Pororo programs and their Meokbang, in English "Eating Show," are pretty popular in EBS for young learners and people. You can watch Pengsoo more on "Giant Peng TV" and Pororo from the EBS Kids channel.

EBS Books and eBooks

EBS has books for kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school students, and adults. EBS Books and eBooks are used at schools with textbooks in South Korea. There are Phonics, Reading, Korean, Math, English, Social Studies, History, Korean History, Science, books about diagnostic assessment, and books for adult programs. In addition, there are radio books for adults who are learning foreign languages.

EBS eBooks are available for elementary, middle, and high school students. EBS eBooks are accessible from smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers for students and teachers. Students and teachers can make notes in their eBooks and eBooks that offer a variety of handwriting functions. People can download their eBooks and study comfortably using their electronic devices.
