The Founder
The Founder
The company was founded by Jeff Scheur, a former teacher, who had spent 8 years teaching English at a high school level. He gained his MA in education from the University of Michigan and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin college. He was passionate about creating a program to promote excellent writing skills in students, through an adaptive and personalized learning experience. Scheur is “intent on improving the feedback loop in classrooms and empowering students to become skilled, creative, and confident writers.” (No Red Ink, n.d.)
