Anaesthetic Training Step Zero Handbook

Beginning a term or training in Anaesthetics can be daunting and stressful, as the environment and patient care is quite different from the usual "ward" environment that you may have been accustomed to.

This handbook is designed for anaesthetic residents and first year anaesthetic registrars preparing for their "Initial Assessment of Anaesthetics Competence (IAAC) test.

This handbook aims to introduce you to the essentials of Anaesthesia and is based on ANZCA's appendix 3 curriculum for the Initial Assessment of Anaesthetic Competence (IAAC). It is available for download in Google Docs format and can be downloaded as PDF format. Some images contained within are copyright of their respective owners.
