In the Cornish community, it's a troubling fact that only a handful of people are doing the lion's share of the work to protect and promote our language. This website is for everyone who's ever wished they could get involved, but didn't know how.
On the Ragdresow (Projects) page, you'll find the projects and organisations that are looking for volunteers. These groups are either:
directly related to Cornish, such as helping a Cornish language organisation at an event or working with other Cornish speakers to translate a video game into Cornish.
closely related to Cornish and Cornish culture, such as working with a local cultural organisation on their archives or to produce material to preserve a threatened aspect of our traditional culture.
not related to the Cornish language, but want to incorporate (or are incorporating) our language into their organisation, such as a beach cleaning crew that wants to use Cornish during their outings, or a Cornish-speaking gardening club.
On the Dyski (Learn) page, you'll find resources for in-demand skills like grant-writing, as well as resources for learning and using Cornish.
On the Kestav (Contact) page, you'll find how to get in touch with us and a form for submitting your projects for inclusion on the website.
