Cadenza is an all-female and non-competitive a cappella group at UCLA that focuses on spreading positivity and our love for music.
Role: Finance Chair
Voice Part: Alto II
I joined Cadenza at the beginning of my sophomore year, and it was one of the best decisions I have made because it allowed me to continue fulfilling my passion for music in college, and I have met so many amazing girls. As a way to be more involved in the club, I am currently the finance chair, where I take care of the group's expenses and apply for funding for performances, facilities, retreats, and more.

Discovering new baking recipes has been my absolute favorite thing to do during quarantine. I even bought 20 pounds of flour at Costco! Below are some of my go-to recipes.
I have probably made banana bread way too many times during quarantine, but my favorite has to be this recipe with a delicious cream cheese filling.
Egg tarts are always yummy, but I especially love these Portuguese egg tarts, with their flaky crust and the use of heavy whipping cream in the custard.
These cookies are made with brown butter, which adds an amazing nutty flavor. They are stuffed with Nutella which is always a plus!
This Japanese cheesecake is so light, airy, and fluffy. It isn't too sweet and has that amazing creaminess that we love from cheesecake.
These turtle buns were sooo cute and fun to make. I didn't have the rice flour for the shell, but it still turned out well. The matcha and chocolate filling worked so well together.
I love anything with lemon, and this lemon loaf was perfect to satisfy my cravings, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Brazilian cheese bread has always been a favorite of mine, with their chewy texture. Just throw everything into a blender and bake!
I know this isn't baking, but ever since going to Japan and trying Nama chocolate, I've been obsessed. These are addicting and just melt in your mouth.
