Challenge
For this project the business knew they wanted to redesign their existing application, but didn't have a clear idea of what they needed.
Solution
We instituted a highly collaborative approach, meeting with the product manager daily to present our thoughts on how to improve the process and then meld her thoughts into the redesign. We began sketching ideas on whiteboards and paper and quickly moved into the higher fidelity mockups you see here.
Additionally, we created a sitemap of entire process to help facilitate discussions between business, product managers, designers and developers. These sitemaps became hugely popular as they gave everyone a clear view of what was to be built, where holes existed and what api calls would need to happen.
Result
With the apps release billing is more accurate, customer service satisfaction has improved and warehouse inventory is more accurate.
