I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program of the School of Psychological and Behavioral Sciences at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. 

I am trained as a pediatric psychology scientist-practitioner and am passionate about promoting the physical and psychological well-being of youth, especially adolescents and young adults with chronic medical conditions. 

I am also passionate about research mentorship and teaching of undergraduate and graduate students. I am always excited to share my pediatric psychology expertise and to learn from students about new content areas to explore and new ways to think about research in the field.
