About Me

My name is Kim Brown.  I'm a printmaker, painter, and photographer.
I've drawn and painted most of my life, and graduated from UNC-W with a double major--one being in fine art.  After I graduated, I worked in my hometown area as a potter in the Seagrove, N.C.  I returned to the coastal area of N.C. and worked in a field that was my primary interest for many years -- sewing.  I started and operated a clothing alterations business in Wilmington, N.C. and later moved to Brunswick County, N.C. where I worked in an interior design business and workroom creating custom window treatments, slipcovers, pillows, etc.
I currently work as a real estate photographer and enjoy creating my own works of art from my home studio.
