PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION SERVICES
PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION SERVICES
I am a first-generation New Zealand-born Samoan woman with ancestral connections to the villages of Taufusi, Sa'anapu, and Safotu, Samoa. Raised in South Auckland, I continue to call this community home, where I live with my husband, our three school-aged children, and my mother. Balancing family life with a professional career and a strong sense of purpose has shaped both who I am and the values I bring to my work.
My lived experience, Samoan heritage, faith, and professional journey have deeply influenced my commitment to serving individuals, whānau, and communities. These foundations have nurtured a deep appreciation for culture, identity, relationships, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel respected, valued, and empowered.
Alongside my professional experience, I bring lived mental health experience that has strengthened my empathy, self-awareness, and understanding of the complexities people often navigate in both their personal and professional lives. This perspective enables me to connect with others in ways that are authentic, compassionate, and grounded in hope.
I value lifelong learning and continually seek opportunities to deepen my knowledge, strengthen my practice, and grow both personally and professionally. My aspiration is to contribute to stronger, healthier communities by supporting people, particularly Māori and Pacific communities, to recognise their strengths, navigate challenges with confidence, and flourish in ways that honour their values, culture, and personal aspirations.
I offer interprofessional reflective supervision for practitioners, leaders, and professionals across health, social services, education, community, and related sectors.
I believe effective supervision begins with a genuine, trusting relationship. My approach is grounded in my faith, Samoan values, and relational practice, creating a collaborative and culturally responsive space where you can pause, reflect, and make sense of the complexities of your work.
Supervision is more than a professional requirement, it is a restorative partnership that nurtures reflective practice, accountability, learning, wellbeing, and ongoing professional growth. Together, we will explore challenges with curiosity, build on your existing strengths, celebrate your successes, and identify practical ways to enhance your confidence, leadership, and professional practice.
My supervision is strengths-based, values-led, and informed by holistic models of wellbeing that recognise the interconnectedness of culture, identity, relationships, spirituality, purpose, and practice. I welcome people from all backgrounds and disciplines, respecting the unique experiences, knowledge, and perspectives each person brings.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that every person already possesses wisdom, resilience, and the capacity for growth. My role is not to provide answers, but to walk alongside you as a trusted thinking partner, offering thoughtful reflection, compassionate challenge, and genuine encouragement.
My hope is that you leave each supervision session feeling heard, valued, uplifted, and empowered to lead and practice with greater confidence, authenticity, and integrity.
Professional supervision is a dedicated space to pause from the demands of your work, reflect with intention, and reconnect with the values, purpose, and strengths that guide your practice. Through a trusted and confidential partnership, supervision provides the support, perspective, and accountability needed to navigate complexity, care for your own wellbeing, and continue growing both personally and professionally.
Supervision is about more than discussing challenges. It is an opportunity to celebrate successes, explore situations from new perspectives, strengthen decision-making, and develop greater confidence in your practice. It provides time to process the emotional impact of your work, gain clarity, and identify practical ways to move forward with intention.
Whether you are developing your leadership, navigating change, managing increasing demands, preventing burnout, or seeking ongoing professional growth, supervision offers a space to learn, reflect, and reconnect. By investing in your own wellbeing and development, you are better equipped to provide safe, compassionate, and effective support to the individuals, whānau, and communities you serve.
Group supervision brings practitioners together in a facilitated reflective space where members learn from one another through shared experiences, discussion, and collective reflection. It encourages collaboration, broadens perspectives, strengthens professional practice, and fosters connection while maintaining a respectful, supportive, and culturally safe environment.
Individual supervision offers one-to-one reflective support tailored to your unique role, experiences, and goals. It provides a safe and confidential space to explore challenges, strengthen self-awareness, build confidence, enhance professional practice, and prioritise your wellbeing.
