On Wednesday 12th of October we organise a game night in our study cafe at Uilenstede! We'll play some typical Dutch games and have some free drinks available too! This game night is intended for all students who fancy a fun evening and are open to meeting some new people! We'll start at 20:00 and you do not have to sign up beforehand, just make sure to save the date!

Amsterdam Oase is a new cosy study café, organized by students and for students! You can work and study there for free. You can get free tea and free coffee (!). And there are several study-breaks that you can join. For example: we take a small walk a few times a day, and we have lunch together. We're open every Thursday from 10u-17u and we plan to open during other days too!

Imagine that you can go to a chill, calm and cosy place, where you don't need to worry about anything. Soft jazz music playing in the background, lots of plants (!) and warm dimmed lights. You go to study there, take a small walk with some other students and leave fully relaxed and with all your work done!

We started Amsterdam Oase because we missed something. In the UB, people usually study alone, sit there for many hours, and the vibe can be a bit tense. And studying in a coffee company gives us the feeling that you need to order things, and we feel awkward studying there alone very long.

We are five students from Amsterdam. From left to right (starting at the top): Tim, Raoul, Thomas, Claire and Arie. We missed a place to study with a nicer, more easy-going vibe than the UB, so we decided to start one ourselves!

Yes, it is completely free! We have free coffee and tea. You can also buy other drinks or food below at Il Caffé. Amsterdam Oase is intended for all students!
