We wrote RMediation package (Tofighi and MacKinnon, 2011) in R statistical programming environment that uses a numerical method to build a CI for an indirect effect in a single mediator model. Further, I have made this software accessible by building a web application accessible to all researchers without requiring knowledge of any programming language.

We extended the RMediation package to build a confidence interval for any complex nonlinear function of the model parameters in single-level and multilevel structural equation models (Tofighi and MacKinnon, 2016). With this extension, one now can produce the Monte Carlo and Multivariate Delta Method to compute a CI. A Georgia Tech Ph.D. student, Taylor Baldwin, under my supervision, developed the web application for this new method.
