We note that we are volunteer run and any financial support we receive has been sourced through small, inconsistent donations. We run all our services for free but that means we don't tend to have access to any money. We are an education organisation and are unable to provide personal funding given we do not have the money to do so.
For financial transparency:
Our everyday activities we run through volunteers, with no funding
Two of our publications (Climate Change, International Law), we received a small amount of funding from Monash Gender, Peace and Security to organise a launch event and print published material
We raised $500 from our community in Canberra, Australia who kindly donated from their own pocket to help with the poetry competition prize money
$350, which was also crowd funded in Melbourne Australia, was used to print physical copies of the Sunlight and Fire poetry compeition. Other printing costs were covered in-kind by one of our volunteers.
We understand that Afghan women face a variety of challenges, and a lack of funds is a very significant one. We are really sorry we can't help more. Please do not contact us for financial support.
