Amphorae is the postgraduate conference of the Australasian Society for Classical Studies. Since its inception in 2007, the conference has grown, proudly showcasing the research of future leaders in Ancient World Studies.

Amphorae welcomes presentations on all facets of ancient world studies from Honours, Masters, and PhD students from Australia, New Zealand, and the world.

Amphorae has been hosted by the University of Queensland, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of Tasmania, Auckland University, Victoria University Wellington, University of Western Australia, and Monash in the past. This will be the second time that Monash has played host .
