Arizona has a diversity of reptiles and amphibians. Collectively known as herptiles or herps, they have always been a popular topic for Arizona educators. As a result, we put together a number of herp education resources that may be valuable in your classroom.
The resources are divided into sections. You will find sections that focus on general amphibian and reptile resources in addition to resources that apply to both types of herps. At the end, you will also find some more species specific resources. For example, materials to help you teach about desert tortoises can be found below the general reptiles resources.
All of the resources below can be downloaded or accessed for free.
