Summary: This essay reflects on a work in the 2023 Jogja Biennale, which is a work by Aji Ardoyono. The main reflection is on ecological issues and the chaotic waste management in Yogyakarta. Aji Ardoyono's work, which addresses ecological issues through the symbol of the dragonfly, is confronted with the chaotic ecological reality, especially regarding the messy waste management by the Yogyakarta local government.
