Darya Alontseva completed her PhD in Physics at East Kazakhstan State University in 2002. She completed her postdoctoral studies at Altai State Technical University, Russia, in 2013 and received the degree of Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics. In 2016 she was awarded the academic title of Professor of Physics. She has 20 years of research experience in developing new material and processes and management of funded scientific projects. She is a lead researcher in her research area: physics of condensed state, material science and surface engineering. Currently she is a professor of the School of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University
