Amizhtan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, specializing in High Voltage Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. His research focuses on the condition monitoring and diagnostics of power apparatus, with a particular interest in enhancing the reliability and performance of high voltage equipment.
He is currently involved in the project Transdimo – Transients for Diagnostics and Monitoring of Power Components– where he investigates transient phenomena to develop advanced techniques for the assessment and health monitoring of power system components.
