As a senior full stack developer, led the team and carried out work for development of new applications as part of decommissioning third party tool to receive pricing benchmark feeds for bond trading thereby saving licensing costs.

The project was based on bond trading application which is used to trade 2 short term tax-exempt municipal instruments: Variable Rate Demand Bonds (VRDB) and Auction Rate Securities (ARS), with the primary goal of eliminating significant annual vendor licensing costs.

On the technology front it involved java, spring, spring mvc, JPA, flex, distributed systems, Oracle db etc.

Identified and resolved web application and product errors reported by sales and traders and made improvements to reduce error tickets by 40% monthly.

Designed and implemented new product features and web architecture for five different applications across users including middle office, traders and sales.
