The Neuromorphic Computing collaboration between KAUST, Saudi Arabia (Prof. Nazek El‑Atab, Dr. Dayanand Kumar), Konkuk University, South Korea (Prof. Hoonkyung Lee), and the University of Manchester, UK (Amit Singh) focuses on developing memristive, brain‑inspired architectures for next‑generation artificial neural systems. In this collaboration, we aim to investigate synaptic plasticity, device‑level switching dynamics, spiking‑neuron emulation, and energy‑efficient neuromorphic signal processing using multifunctional memristive devices and computational modeling frameworks. Together, we integrate materials engineering, device physics, and algorithmic design to advance scalable neuromorphic platforms capable of real‑time learning and adaptive computation.
The High Energy Physics collaboration between the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan (Prof. David Lin), the University of Manchester, UK (Amit Singh), National Taiwan University, Taiwan (Prof. Ying-Jer Kao, Hao-Ti Hung), Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics, Germany (Dr. Mari Carmen Banuls), and Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland (Krzysztof Cichy). In this collaboration, we aim to study the non-equilibrium entanglement entropy, the fermion bilinear condensate, the eigenvalue spectrum, and the return rate of the Thirring 1+1-dimensional model using variational uniform MPS and a time-dependent variational principle.
