Amit Hasan

I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Connecticut (UConn). I work as a research assistant in the Intelligent & Efficient Systems Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Caiwen Ding. My research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Model Compression, Co-designing NN Architecture and Hardware. I worked in Tokyo for more than two years as a Machine Learning Engineer at a Japanese AI startup company named Hiperdyne before moving to the USA. I have a diverse set of interests such as problem-solving, programming, robotics, electronics, traveling, photography, and learning new things.
