11th Congress of the Asian Sleep Research Society: I attended the preworkshop entitled "Workshop on Technological Advances in Sleep Medicine" held at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi on 7th February 2025. This workshop covered advances in consumer sleep technology, remote monitoring for better care, non-PAP OSA therapies like neuromodulation, and telemedicine’s role in improving accessibility. BR41N.IO DESIGNERS' HACKATHON at IEEE SMC 2024, Kuching, Malaysia: BR41N.IO is a brainstorming and collaborative marathon designed to be a learning experience for  developers, technologists, engineers, students, artists, and scientists who cram and build brain-computer interface (BCI) applications together in teams. Noninvasive brain stimulation: Advances in research and clinical practice (India|EMBO Lecture Course) (Participant)- Non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) is a very dynamic and interdisciplinary field that has drawn the attention of researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds. Besides offering an excellent set of tools for exploring brain physiology and cognitive processes, the clinical applications of this field span a wide range of neurological and psychiatric conditions. Recent technological advances have enabled the combination of neuroimaging and electrophysiological methods with NIBS. This course aims to offer a comprehensive overview of NIBS to educate young scientists on state-of-the-art techniques, current trends, and challenges in the field. The course program has been carefully designed to include plenary talks by accomplished senior investigators, workshops, seminars, and interactive poster sessions in addition to talks that will review diverse topics in the field of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) organized in a logical, evolutionary format starting from basic sciences to clinical applications. Brain Mapping and Artificial Intelligence (BMAI) Workshop (Member of Organizing Committee) - This workshop introduced fundamental challenges in understanding the human brain and translating that knowledge to the machine domain. Participants learned fundamental neuroscience and various techniques to understand the mechanism behind the science of intelligence. The state of the art in Artificial intelligence techniques, as well as opportunities & challenges, were discussed. Given the large-scale opportunities and scope of neuroscientific research in the coming years, it is high time that a strong front of female future neuroscientists is motivated and trained to join the conversation, bearing the torch of inclusivity and equality in academia.
