Amit Bhandare is a steadfast and animated professional photographer based in Mumbai with over 20 years of experience which includes 8 years of teaching experience.
He currently works as a freelancer and also is an adjourn faculty in MGM University, Aurangabad. He was working with D.Y. Patil University as an assistant professor in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, having worked with Symbiosis School of photography in the last couple of years enabled him to undertake successful initiatives like creating a ‘Darkroom’ for exploring ‘Alternate photography printing processes’.
He has also researched on ‘Cyanotype Process’, ‘Carbon transfer print processes’ and a joint research paper on ‘Infrared Photography’ which have allowed his students to explore different aspects to the world of photography.
Amit’s work in the world of photography is extremely diverse having team up with Ad Agencies like ‘Mudra Communications’ and ‘Attitude’, magazines like ‘Style Speak and ‘Ideal Home and Garden’ tagging along with direct clients shows his love for new challenges and zeal in discovering new frontiers.
His daring attitude for specifics proves his ability to undertake massive projects like showcasing work at the ‘India Art Fair’ right up to conducting ‘International Photography’ tours for his students. His deep passion for photos is as clear as the lens on his camera.
