FUTURE

Fundamental Understanding of Transport Under Reactor Extremes (FUTURE) dedicated to understanding how the extreme conditions encountered by materials in nuclear reactors -- radiation damage, corrosive environments, high stresses, and high temperatures -- couple to impact the properties of the material. My works on the modeling cross-cutting thrust of FUTURE to study defect thermodynamics and kinetics within the metal and the oxide and at their interface as it pertains to corrosion mechanisms.
