Academic Experience

From May, 2017 till July, 2022, and again from July, 2024 till date Amit is working as a full-time faculty member of the Computer Science and Engineering department of IEM. As a part of the current role, Amit teaches Machine Learning, Statistics and Mathematics and Software Engineering to the students of B.Tech. and M.Tech. in the Computer Science and Engineering department. Besides, he also teaches other core subjects in computer science like Microprocessor, Computer Networks, Database Management, etc. Amit is also a guest lecturer in the A.K. Choudhury School of IT, University of Calcutta.

Before joining as full-time faculty at IEM, he was engaged as a visiting faculty of IEM and an industry advisory for RCC Institute of Information Technology (or RCCIIT), another reputed engineering college in eastern India.
