Amit Das

I am a Presidential Research Fellow in Computer Science at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV).

I completed my bachelor's degree from Techno India University, India.

At UTRGV, my thesis advisor is Dr. Marzieh Ayati and my research focused on computational biology, bioinformatics, and data science.

I am also working with Dr. Nur Ahmed (Post Doctoral Fellow, MIT Sloan and CSAIL) where my current research is exploring the emergence of Artificial Intelligence from its nascent stage by analyzing the publications, oral history, and archival data.
