2. Activity Monitoring
Amissa includes an activity monitoring feature that runs periodic background checks using Android's WorkManager. This feature:
Detects periods of inactivity based on thresholds you configure
Triggers local notifications and optional email alerts to your trusted contacts if inactivity is detected
Processes all data locally on your device
Does not transmit your activity data to any external server
You remain in full control of your inactivity thresholds and trusted contact list at all times.
3. Accident Detection
The app includes an accident detection feature that:
Operates via on-device simulation and user-initiated alerts
Presents a countdown timer allowing you to cancel a false alarm before any action is taken
May notify your trusted contacts upon confirmation
Does not collect sensor data or transmit detection events to any server
4. Trusted Contacts
Contact information you add is:
Stored locally on your device using a secure local database (SQLite)
Used only to send alerts in the event of detected inactivity or an accident
Never shared with, sold to, or accessed by us or any third party
5. Scheduled Emails
Email schedules you create are:
Stored locally on your device
Used only to send your configured email at your specified date and time
Never accessed, read, or stored by us on any server
6. AI Chat Feature
The Amissa AI assistant:
Processes your messages locally on-device using a built-in local AI provider
Does not send your conversations to any external AI service or server
Does not retain chat history beyond your active session unless you explicitly save it
7. Notifications
Amissa uses local notifications to:
Alert you about inactivity events
Remind you about scheduled emails
Notify you during accident detection countdowns
Notifications are generated on-device and do not require an internet connection or external notification service.
8. Third-Party Services
Amissa does not currently integrate Firebase, analytics platforms, or any cloud backend. All features operate fully offline and on-device. If third-party services are introduced in future versions, this policy will be updated accordingly.
9. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
Provide and maintain all app features
Monitor inactivity and trigger alerts as configured by you
Manage your trusted contacts and scheduled emails
