Amir Jafari is an Assistant Professor of the GW Data Science program. He is also a Google Cloud Faculty Expert. He has been conducting research in the areas of neural network design, statistical modeling, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling for the last ten years. His research has encompassed a variety of application areas: machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, statistical modeling, signal processing, dynamic systems, recurrent neural network, training, and optimization.
In recent years, his research has been focused on the use of neural networks for data science applications, time-series predictions, natural language processing, deep learning network architectures, and training a big data on GPUs.
