Roots of Life with Amira Jaff is an independent media project where I tell stories about nature and life, explore the connections that bind us to the living world, and bring those stories to life through words, images, and reflection. On this journey I explore the deep-rooted relationship between people and the natural world.
The project currently shares its work through a weekly newsletter covering a wide range of subjects, including wildlife, biodiversity, plants and animals, environmental change, culture, and the small details and hidden stories within the living world that often go unnoticed.
Through words and images, the project explores the stories, experiences, and connections that shape our understanding of nature and our relationship with it, It creates space for curiosity and reflection while encouraging a deeper awareness and appreciation of the natural world.
The project is rooted in my belief in the power of words and images. Together, they can spark curiosity, open new ways of thinking, deepen our connection with the natural world, reach people on an emotional level, and inspire them to see their surroundings differently, creating the possibility for meaningful and lasting change.
