Our Mission

Mission

• Our mission is to increase awareness of spiritual, social, physical, political, and economic determinants that form and shape our lives.

• Seek solutions to resolve disparities in health care, birth, and breastfeeding.

• Prevent low birth weight, prematurity, maternal and infant morbidity, and mortality.

• To liberate Black mamas, Black families and Black systems of care through scholarship, maternity care, reproductive health care services and advocacy in our community and across the Diaspora as a revolutionary act to end maternal mortality.

We envision changing the world by the way we welcome our future leaders into this world. I am honored to care for pregnant people and their families with compassion and expertise.

Our approach to all people is to provide love, compassion and support. Birth work is a passion, and I strive to create an impactful pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences for my clients. I plan on focusing on centering women’s issues as a way to address specific topics to empower women to take charge of their health.
