Formerly a palace, the INATEL of Foz do Arelho Hotel is located on the seafront of this picturesque coastal village, just a few meters away from the wide stretch of golden sand that surrounds Lagoa de Óbidos.
The lunches and dinners on the 4th and 5th of October are included in the registration. Both lunches and the Friday dinner will take place at the hotel, and the Saturday dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Getting Here
By car
For those traveling from the South, the best way is to take the A8 motorway for approximately 86 km; for those traveling from the North, it's about 227 km via the A1, A17 and A8 motorways. Taking the A8 motorway exit 19, it's 10 more minutes to Foz do Arelho.
By bus or train
To get to Foz do Arelho by public transport, it's best to go to Caldas da Rainha. From here, there are buses every 3 hours to Foz do Arelho, with a journey time of 15 minutes and a cost of around 2 euros. Another option is to take a taxi, which completes the journey in 12 minutes for approximately 15-18 euros.
To get to Caldas da Rainha from Lisbon, it takes 1 hour and 10 minutes by bus from the Sete Rios bus station (costing between 8 and 11 euros), or 2 hours and 20 minutes by train from the Sete Rios train station (costing between 6 and 10 euros).
