Live life at your own pace as you explore your island. Spend time gardening, fishing, decorating, and hunting for bugs or fossils. You’ll share your island with animal residents. Choose a spot for their homes, chat with them whenever you feel like it, exchange gifts with them, and form friendships. You can grow your community at your own pace. Decorate your island and home with items you craft, grow, find, or receive as gifts. You can also shape the land to suit your island style! Your island has a wealth of natural resources that can be used to craft and reinforce tools, furniture, and other creature comforts. The possibilities are nearly endless when it comes to decorating your home too. Choose flooring and wallpaper, place furniture, change the lighting, and hang items from the wall or ceiling. Did we mention that the island's look is up to you too? Change the arrangement whenever it suits you, whether it be decorating for the season, a holiday, or just because. Once you learn how to terraform, you can make dramatic changes to your island! Cliff construction, water scaping, or placing bridges and slopes can help make it easier to get around. Invite friends and family to your island or hop an airplane to visit theirs. You can even visit each other in a shared dream world! Up to eight players can live on the same island within one game. With one Nintendo Switch system and one game, up to four players can play on the same island at the same time. It's your island paradise, so enjoy it however, whenever, or however you please!
