Establish Quorum: In order for a PTA meeting to begin, we must have a quorum (group of people) of at least 10 PTA members.
Approve Meeting Minutes from last General Meeting
Budget: communicate expenses/income since the last meeting and announce our current budget.
Old Business: run through what was discussed at the last meeting and provide updates on those items as necessary
New Business: discuss new topics pertinent to our school community; members vote on items such as budget and elected officers
Conclusion: recap an action items and remind the group of the next PTA Meeting date
There are 4 general meetings per year. Normally 2 in the fall semester and 2 in the spring semester.
Our PTA strives to provide childcare during the meeting so parents can attend.
Meetings usually take an hour to an hour and half, depending on the agenda.

PTA Google Group - closed Ridgetop family to family communication. Room reps will send email via Google Group. Parents can ask any questions they may have.
WhatsApp - a phone app that parents can ask quick answer questions of their grade level.
