Boost Pad
This is the most recent original single off of my upcoming album "Treestump Funk!" I drew a lot of inspiration from kart racing video games that I grew up with, and certain parts are directly inspired by artists like Jamiroquai and my composer pal The Red Panda.
Portola Proms
My high school's instrumental and technical theatre departments recently worked together to put on our most ambitious concert to date: Portola Proms. The event was essentially our own take on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's world-famous rock/classical fusion experience, and as an Honor Technician I used the opportunity to create musical transitions/narration segments between live songs, each of which were infused with elements of Beethoven and modern pop culture. Daft Punk, Koji Kondo and Theodore Shapiro were major influences for many of these pieces.
Mighty Switch Force Cover
I'm a big fan of Jake Kaufman, the composer behind Ducktales: Remastered, Shantae and Shovel Knight, among other things. While playing through Mighty Switch Force some time ago, I thought it might be fun to do my own take on his "level select" theme! This cover isn't tied to an album; it was more of a fun creative exercise that I worked on between larger projects.
Toree 2 Remix Album
By now you might have noticed that I'm kinda into video games, and the Toree series is no exception. About 3 years ago, one of my favorite composers/musicians, The Red Panda, reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in contributing to a remix album as a surprise for the series developer. It was some of the most fun I've had working on a music project, and you can listen to it on any streaming service of your choice!
Additional Music
My very first cover of "September" by Earth Wind & Fire. I intend to make one every year from here on out.
Short cover of the Tomato Convenience Store theme song from the Sega video game Shenmue.
Another original! This was the first single from my upcoming "Treestump Funk" album. This one definitely marked a shift from my old production style to what I'm more used to now.
Another quick cover, this time of the Battle Victory theme from the Square Enix video game Final Fantasy VII.
A recent cover of Louis Cole's "F It Up." Highly recommend Louis Cole if you're into good music (or weird jazz).
