The Atlanta Korean Festival
The Atlanta Korean Festival
On September 10, students, parents, and World Languages Department teachers representing the AMHS International Club attended the Atlanta Korean Festival. Students learned about the culture, tasted different foods, watched presentations, and saw typical Korean dress. World Languages teachers are grateful to students and parents for participating!
Although Covid-19 restricted some of the activities and outings we wanted to do, we did not let it stop us from exploring and appreciating other cultures. In March 2022 the International Club took a trip to H-mart, a Korean-American supermarket chain, to learn about Asian snacks and foods in a grocery setting.
