Under the changing climate conditions, extreme hydrologic events like floods and droughts are more frequent in many parts of the World. The scenario in India is also not different. The increasing magnitude and frequency of hydrological extreme events demands detailed scientific studies for extreme events warning, prediction, and vulnerability modelling, and risk assessment. During the five days program, experts in the domain of flood modelling, and remote sensing will speak about advanced technologies, methods and tools available for flood forecasting, flood modelling, changes in the rainfall pattern, moisture stress assessment using advanced tools and technologies. The lectures are organized as live webinar sessions from 10:30am-12:00 noon and 2:00-3:30 pm.
