Brand Experience

This page collects the brands I have worked with since 2012, as an in-house marketer, an agency lead and an independent consultant. The work spans technical SEO and site architecture, content strategy, structured data, Google Ads, and more recently Generative Engine Optimization - making sure a brand is quoted accurately when people ask an AI assistant instead of a search engine.

The clients here sit in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, travel and tourism, real estate, e-commerce, education, food and beverage, industrial manufacturing, fintech and B2B technology, across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Switzerland. Some were multi-year in-house roles; others were single audits, migrations or launches. Each entry below shows the brand, the year, and the work involved.

Memphis Tours

2012— 2015

My first role in digital marketing, and the one that taught me search. I joined as a Digital Marketing Researcher and moved into SEO, analytics and PPC across the Egypt and Jordan properties. The work was keyword and competitor research across a large inventory of tours and destinations, on-page optimisation of destination and package pages, building out the Egypt and Jordan travel guide sections as organic entry points, and reporting on acquisition through Google Analytics and Search Console.

Cairo Top Tours

2016— 2021

Co-founder and Digital Marketing Manager. I was responsible for the search side of the business from launch: information architecture for a large tour catalogue, on-page and technical SEO, and content production across five language versions - English, Spanish, Italian, French and German. That meant hreflang and canonical handling, avoiding duplicate content across locales, and briefing translators so the non-English versions targeted real local search demand rather than translated English keywords.

Time for Social

2020—2021

Agency-side SEO and content work for a Cairo social and search agency. The engagement covered keyword research and content production for the agency's own site, competitive tracking against other Egyptian SEO firms, and landing page work for campaigns run on behalf of clients.

Engosoft

2021-2022

SEO Manager and Paid Ads lead. I owned the site content and the organic search programme alongside Google Ads account management, covering technical fixes, content restructuring, and position tracking across a large Arabic and English keyword set spanning the Egyptian and Saudi markets.
