I am a ceramic artist with a comprehensive skill set developed through years of hands-on experience. My expertise includes:
Wheel-Thrown Pottery: Crafting functional and artistic forms with precision and care.
Clay Preparation: Reclaiming, wedging, and preparing clay for various uses.
Glaze Development: Mixing, testing, and formulating custom glazes to achieve unique textures and finishes.
Kiln Operation: Loading and firing kilns, including experience with oxidation and reduction firings.
Surface Design: Experimenting with carving, slip application, and other decorative techniques.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding ceramic materials and firing processes to troubleshoot and refine work.
