Bangsar is a well-known area with its continually increasing amount of development in the last 50 years. Currently,  downtown Bangsar is dominated by high rise buildings, accommodating many important offices such as Maybank and UOA.  At the same time, new developments require a significant amount of labourers to work on the newer buildings, therefore creating rise in demand for convenience services such as grocery stores and others. Unfortunately, Bangsar is becoming even more transient with its population.  How can this problem should be adressed? The project proposes an urban intervention whe the introduction of an Urban Marketplace is proposed.
