ABOUT ME
I am an astrophysicist working on the high-energy physics behind the evolution of massive stars in multiple systems and the consequent formation of gravitational wave sources, with a major focus on the formation of black hole from stellar evolution.
More specifically I combine the strenghts of different numerical and semi-analytical models: I use 1D evolutionary models to investigate the underlying physics and uncertainties in the evolution of massive stars and population synthesis models to draw statistical estimates on the population of neutron star and black hole systems.
