In the Fall of 2021, as COVID dwelled on and some of my hobbies were sidelined, I signed up for a "Whimsical Handbuilding" course at Northwestern's Ceramics Studio. And I fell in love. I'm still learning (always), but boy have I found some more of those PhD transferrable skills. My wonderful instructor, Rachel Ward, encouraged me to catalogue my work. So here it is: a growing list of art (and/or dirt I had fun molding/carving/painting/cooking). More work can be found on instagram.
