STARTspace

STARTspace is a 'think tank' within the Learning Commons that students can use to brainstorm ideas for tasks/projects/ventures. This room is equipped with a TV, Chromebooks, speaker, whiteboards, mobile/lightweight furniture, and basic filming equipment to support each session (see attachment).

Natural Light

Natural light is helpful when brainstrorming! Our STARTspace has big; bright windows that let in a ton of natural light!

Whiteboards

Whiteboards are essential to every STARTsession. Whiteboard markers and post-its are provided for every session. Put your ideas up on the wall for all to see!

Devices

Chromebook are provided to support your session

TV and Bluetooth Speaker

We encourage you to connect your device to project what you are working on with your peers! Need a speaker? We have a Bluetooth one available for you.

Film Lighting and Tri-Pods

Do you need to film during your STARTsession? Lighting can be provided to support your session. Do you need to film something during your STARTsession? We have tri-pods available for you to use with your smart phones.

Mobile/Lightweight Seating

All of the furniture in STARTspace is comfortable, lightweight and easily movable. Tailor STARTspace to meet each session.
