I'm Amber Obermaier, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology at Colorado State University.

I am a food and environmental sociologist studying food system and environmental inequalities. My research studies the complexity of understanding and implementing solutions that respond to these inequalities. I am a mixed-methods researcher with experience with survey, interview, and content analysis methodologies. Throughout graduate school I have been a Colorado Water Fellow, OURA Mentor, and within Swipe Out Hunger's Student Advisory and Leadership Council.
