Journey Mapping & Process Design

Objective:

• Simplifiy, Automate, and Standardize the Hiring and Onboarding process for the company.

Skills Used:

• Customer Journey Mapping

• Process Wire framing 

• User research

Insights:

• Hiring team had no way of tracking progress and communicating between team members.

• No way to hold teammates and interviewers accountable.

• Although thorough SOPs existed, they where not being used or read by team members because they were not being tracked.

• SOP document format was extensive and hard to navigate.

• Not everyone had access to the company Notion page.

• Existing process was too long with many moving parts.

Recommendation Made:

• Use Google Classroom, an existing tool we have free access to, to assign onboarding material and track progress.

• Standardize the way we create and share SOP material by templitizing and creating communication flows.

Results:

• The company loved the Google Classroom experience so much they ended up implementing the same process across all company trainings, not just onboarding.

• My templates for creating and sharing content are still used to design training material.
