About Ambashree
A Home with Heart
The name Ambashree holds deep meaning and emotion for our family. It was first used by our grandfather, Gopala Krishnaih, who started a general store under that name many years ago. Since then, Ambashree has become part of our family identity.
You’ll find the name proudly displayed as a sticker on every family vehicle—a small but strong symbol of our shared roots. We've now given our home the same name, as a tribute to our past and a blessing for our future.
Ambashree also means “goddess”—it is another name for Sri Lokaparameshwari. That divine connection brings an added sense of grace and sanctity to the name.
This is our home, built with love and maintained with care. It has witnessed generations of memories, seasons, and celebrations. We created this website to preserve the soul of Ambashree and offer a glimpse into the simple beauty of life in Malenadu.
Between Four Towns, Surrounded by Forests
Ambashree is located in a scenic region of Malenadu, right in the middle of four beautiful towns: Sringeri, Koppa, Thirthalli, and Agumbe. Each of these places is known for its unique charm—Sringeri for its spiritual heritage, Agumbe for its sunsets and rainforest, Thirthalli for its cultural richness, and Koppa for its calm, green surroundings.
Our home is nestled quietly among these towns, surrounded by thick forests, misty hills, and endless greenery. It is a peaceful location, far from noise and pollution, where the sounds of birds and rustling leaves fill the air.
The changing weather, especially the monsoons, adds even more beauty to this region. With heavy rains, flowing streams, and fresh earthy smells, Ambashree becomes a place that feels like a retreat—without ever trying to be one.
