Information

The First Presbyterian Church of Ogdensburg is sponsoring our fifth Amazing Race Around Ogdensburg which will require participants to solve clues and to race around the city of Ogdensburg.  (NOTE:  NO knowledge of Ogdensburg businesses is necessary in order to be successful in this race.) Throughout the race, participants will also be required to complete some physical and mental challenges.    (Don't be afraid.  None of the challenges are too difficult.)

There are two categories in which you can register. 

• The FAMILY TEAM category has been created for up to 2 adults (at least 16 years of age) and as many children (under age 16) as there are in the family.  This category is perfect for a mom and children, a dad and children, grandparents and children, or a caregiver and children.  NOTE:  The children must all be under the age of 16.   You can register just one adult and one child in this category.  At least one person on the team must have a driver's license and a vehicle. ( $25 person with a maximum of $100 per family.)

• The Up to FOUR ADULT / YOUNG ADULT category is for any combination of up to 4 players ages 16 and older. (Note:  You can also register just TWO people in this category)  This could be up to 4 adults or young adults; best friends, married couples, dating couples, colleagues or any group of up to 4 adult or young adult people who want to have fun. NOTE:  If you have a team where three people are age 16 or older and one is younger than 16, this is the category for you.  At least one person on the team must have a driver's license and a vehicle.  ($25 person)

Oh, and you must be wondering what the theme is for this race.  It's "A Victorian Christmas in August".  So, get your creative side working and come up with a way for your team to best represent your team. The best dressed team will receive a prize.

As always, there is no need to worry about planning for and packing a lunch for the race as we will provide a lunch for all participants as part of the entry fee.  Don't worry about losing your winning edge while stopping to eat.  All teams will be required to stop for at least 20 minutes during the race for lunch.
