Amazing Race Around Ogdensburg

The AMAZING RACE AROUND OGDENSBURG is an unforgettable way to spend the day with friends or family. Race across Ogdensburg as you:

Gather your team and get ready for an experience you won’t forget.

This year, we’re once again offering pre‑race challenges that can earn your team a head start, a roadblock, or a detour. (All pre-race challenges will be sent late July/early August) Register early so you don’t miss out on the “extra credit” fun.

Pre‑race challenges will be sent out on August 1st, and you’ll have until August 12th to complete them.

NOTE: No knowledge of Ogdensburg or the businesses is needed to be successful in this event.

Team Categories

1. Family Team

Up to 2 adults (ages 16+)
Any number of children in the family (all must be under age 16)
Great for parents, grandparents, or caregivers racing with kids
You may register with just one adult and one child
At least one team member must have a driver’s license and a vehicle
Cost: $25 per person, maximum $100 per family when registering and paying prior to or on July 16th.
Cost: $30 per person, maximum $120 per family when registering and paying after to July 16th.

2. Up to Four Adult / Young Adult Team

Any combination of up to 4 players, all ages 16 or older
Perfect for friends, couples, coworkers, or any adult/young adult group
You may register with just two people
If your team includes three members age 16+ and one under 16, choose this category
At least one team member must have a driver’s license and a vehicle
Cost: $25 per person when registering and paying prior to or on July 16th.
Cost: $30 per person, when registering and paying after to July 16th.

Race Theme

This year’s theme is “Celebrating 250 Years in the USA.”

Show off your creativity—dress your team to represent the theme! The best-dressed team wins a prize.

Lunch

Unfortunately, we do not have the space in which to host a sit down lunch this year during the Amazing race. We will load you up with snacks when you begin the race so you can eat while racing. The race will end by 12:15 and awards will be handed out by 12:30 with a goal of being completely finished by 1:00.

Event Timing: Saturday, August 15, 2025

Registration 8:15 - 8:45 am, Race begins at 9:00am, ending at 12:15 pm, with Awards given at 12:30 pm.
