The organization of special sessions is encouraged to provide a forum for focused discussions on new mathematical methods or innovative applications of established approaches for the solution of economic and financial problems.
Please submit your proposals by April 14, 2024 to the conference email:
Proposals have to report the following information:
Title and aim of the Special Session;
First attempt title and authors of each contribution to the session;
and they should be prepared according to the LaTeX template provided, or with a text editor able to produce the output in this format.
Special sessions typically include four presentations. After all proposals have been collected, titles of the special sessions could be slightly modified in agreement with the sessions’ proposers. Proposals with only three contributions will be exceptionally considered and will be integrated with presentations on similar topics.
The organizers of accepted sessions are expected to attend and chair the session.
Please note that the deadline for abstract submission has to be respected even by all authors invited in a special session. The abstract should be written in English and prepared according to the LaTeX template provided, or with a text editor able to produce the output in this format.
Authors will be limited to one presentation per registration.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to, the following research and application areas:
Actuarial Mathematics
Decision Theory
Dynamic Models
Financial Mathematics
Game Theory
Mathematical Economics
Numerical methods
Optimization
