Dr. Aman Kumar Kushwaha
Postdoctoral Researcher
Department of Harbor and River Engineering
National Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan
Hey everyone!
I obtained my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore. My research interests lie in fluid mechanics, differential equations, hydrodynamics, ocean engineering, and numerical methods. My work focuses on understanding complex fluid behavior under varying physical conditions and applying advanced mathematical and computational techniques to address real-world engineering problems, particularly in marine and offshore environments.
Previously, I participated in the Taiwan Experience Education Program at National Taiwan Ocean University, Keelung, Taiwan, from April 15, 2024 to October 11, 2024. During this internship, I collaborated with researchers in ocean engineering and gained valuable research experience related to marine hydrodynamics, coastal processes, and ocean engineering applications.
Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Taiwan Ocean University, Taiwan (since December 2025). In this role, I am actively engaged in research focusing on wave–structure interaction, hydrodynamic analysis, and mathematical modeling of ocean engineering systems, contributing to the advancement of theoretical and applied research in marine science and engineering.
