ARTS

The realm of art has always captivated me. My journey with drawing began at a young age of five and continued until I moved to the States in December 2017. Subsequently, I ventured into painting, a skill I honed independently.

My move to Atlanta posed another challenge; finding a tutor for a teenager like me was no easy feat. But honestly? It was a blessing in disguise. Without any formal training, I discovered the freedom to let my imagination run wild and not be boxed in. Every stroke I make on canvas is a piece of my soul. Through my artwork, I find a unique sense of serenity and a profound sense of individuality. Unlike the collaborative nature of music or dance, my drawings and paintings are purely personal expressions.

The pandemic brought about a significant disruption in my life, distancing me from cherished friends, the rhythm of school, and even my artistic pursuits, given the unavailability of art supplies. Yet, my passion for art remains undiminished. It stands as my chosen medium of self-expression and a source of solace and confidence. I aspire for it to also become a conduit through which I can support and aid others in the future.
