Pastor Cynthia Strickland



Rev. Cynthia Strickland is the newly appointed Senior Pastor of Amanda Flipper AME Church. Amanda Flipper is a thriving African Methodist denominational ministry located in Decatur Georgia. Rev. Strickland is known for her practical and dynamic teaching style which encourage people to apply the truths of Scripture to their everyday lives.

Rev. Strickland is a native of Fayetteville, Georgia. Rev. Strickland attended school in Coweta County and graduated from East Coweta High School. She then attended Griffin Tech and received her license as a Practical Nursing. She went back to school and received her Bachelor of Science from Atlanta Christian College in Human Relations and a Master of Divinity from Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC).

She is the proud mother of Adrian and Natasha, with two granddaughters, Alexa and Mila.

Mission belief is to Love God through our Living and to Live God through our Loving.

Her favorite scripture is Roman 8:28-31 “All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, to them who are called according to his purpose. If God be for us Who can be against us.”
